If you saw & heard:

  • Two guys hugging each other, one consolingly, the other as if he needs to get out and find new friends
  • a clear glass bottle with leaves in it, sitting on a table
  • Another two guys stroking the tops of computers so they make a high pitched howling sound, and somebody else (me) contorting and yelling and hitting them for making such irritating noises
  • And then three other people decide to do it too..
  • At least 5 people whistling the tune to “bright side of life” by Monty Python, and then somebody who isn’t whistling pointing out how much it sounds like “Following the Leader” from Peter Pan
  • One girl telling a teacher about how she had a “manly voice” that day because she felt that she was coming down with a cold, and another girl yelling at her: “YOU’RE A HERMAPHRODITE!” And that girl going red and pissing herself laughing, and then says something along the lines of being a schizophrenic
  • And then the teacher she was talking to explain to her and her friend about how being both schizo and a hermaphrodite would kind of be like, the lesser of two evils
  • and then the girl who was told this going red and a half laughing, half embarrassed go red and try to run out the door, to be chased after by a friend and carried back in
  • And two Hong Kong boys sitting in the corner having a quiet, normal, uninterrupted conversation…

I’m pretty sure you’d stand there and go: What. The actual. Fuck.

Because that’d be my tutor group.
